Excellent group of attendees who were highly motivated and experienced. Interesting observations and discussion throughout the day. Plant communities mostly all dominated by wetland plants, yet soils distinctly different. When all the pieces are put together — subtle changes in slope, herb layer (ground cover), surface indicators of hydrology — the picture comes into focus. Good time had by all.
